Barista Catering: hosts who speak your visitors' language
Between 60 and 75 percent of visitors at Messe Düsseldorf come from abroad. Our baristas greet them in English and German, keep them talking, and pass them to your team at the right moment.
Hosts and brand ambassadors, not machine operators
Anyone can rent an espresso machine. The reason exhibitors book barista catering is the person behind it. Our baristas welcome guests, ask where they travelled from, explain what your company does in one sentence, and notice when a visitor is ready for a real sales conversation.
Every crew member hosts in English and German as standard. More languages are available on request: tell us who you expect, and we staff your bar to match.
- Briefed on your product and your three key talking points
- Trained to hand warm guests to your sales team
- Latte art and your logo on the foam, served with a smile

What the barista adds, beyond the equipment
The machine makes the coffee. The barista makes the contact.
The opening line
A good barista reads the room, greets a badge from Osaka or Ohio in English, and starts the conversation your sales team gets to finish.
Hospitality that holds
Milk takes about forty seconds to steam. In that time a guest relaxes, looks around your stand, and asks what you actually do.
The handover
Our crew knows when to chat and when to step back. The moment a guest leans in, the barista brings a colleague of yours into the conversation.
Their barista welcomed our Italian distributors in English before we even saw them, and walked them straight to our sales lead. The coffee was the excuse. The conversation was the win.Marketing manager, mid-sized packaging machinery exhibitor

Barista Catering FAQ
Which languages do your baristas speak?
English and German come standard on every booking. Need more? Tell us in your brief which markets you expect, and we will staff the bar to match, more languages on request.
Will the baristas know anything about our company?
Yes. Before the fair we ask for a short briefing: what you do, your key talking points, and who on your team takes over interested guests. The barista opens, your team closes.
How many drinks can one station serve?
100 to 150 quality drinks per hour, per station. For large stands or peak hours we add a second station or barista, so nobody walks away from the queue.
What does the bar need from our stand?
One standard 230V socket. No water connection. The bar fits in roughly 2 x 1 meters, and full setup and breakdown are always included.
How do we get a price?
Tell us your fair, stand size, days and expected guests. You get a quote within 24 hours. Every fair differs in hours and traffic, so we quote per event instead of listing flat rates.
When do you set up?
Setup the day before the fair is possible and usually the calmest option. On the first morning your baristas arrive, polish the cups, and the first espresso is ready before the doors open.
